Fundamentals: Breath and Posture
Problem: Hoarseness, shortness of breath and neck tension, lack of energy.
Solution: You will learn diaphragmatic-costal breathing (fuel for the voice) and improve your posture. This will help you stop "pushing" sound through your throat and start singing with your whole body. Proper airflow is the foundation of singing technique.
The Secret of MIX: Register Blending
Problem: "Cracks," voice breaking, and difficulty hitting high notes.
Solution: The most important element of the course. I will show you how to smoothly transition from low (chest voice) to high (head voice) without breaks. You will build so-called vocal bridges and achieve a uniform timbre throughout your range.
Power, Brilliance, and Resonators
Problem: A quiet, dull voice that gets lost in the backing track.
Solution: Loud doesn't mean forceful! You will learn to direct sound to the "mask" and skull resonators. Your voice will gain a metallic brilliance and carrying power (projection) without excessive physical effort.
