Powerful Chest Voice
In professional terms, "Pull Chest."
And yet your sounds are full of richness and timbre. However, you have a problem when it comes to transitioning to higher registers.
There, the voice often constricts and loses its color, simultaneously causing increasing discomfort.
As for your larynx, it rises when you go for higher notes, causing even more constriction.
The plan for you is as follows: I recommend focusing on not increasing the volume of sounds when you start singing higher and higher. It is very important not to cause even more tension in the larynx.
I would definitely try to find the head register at all costs.
Even if it sounds terrible, the point is to feel that your vocal cords are able to stretch.
And once you manage to discover this area, it would be worth focusing on combining these two completely different vocal worlds.
Here are some tips for now:
- The throat is a corridor, not a trap: If you feel like you're "holding" the sound with your neck, it's like trying to run with the handbrake on.
- Strength does not equal loudness: You think that if you push harder from your chest, the high notes will "come." They won't – you'll just get tired faster.
- The neck is not the strings: If after 15 minutes of singing, the muscles on the outside of your neck hurt, it's a sign that your instrument is trying to compensate.
- Your tongue should be relaxed: Try singing anything while holding your finger under your chin. If you feel tension there, your tongue is sabotaging your singing.
- This is just the tip of the iceberg: We can loosen this constriction, but to sing freely, we need to rebuild your entire way of thinking about how sound is produced.
🚀 Transformation Plan
Building balance in the head. Balance between air and muscles, and also between the head and chest registers.
So that the voice flows smoothly from bottom to top and back again
